Apple ID

Your apple ID will be the first thing you see when you click on your settings at the top of the screen. Unless you are signed in with someone else’s Apple ID or you are sharing an Apple ID, you should see your name and Apple ID email at the top of the screen.

You will need to sign in with your Apple ID in order to access Apple services and features and download apps from the app store.

You can sign in or create an Apple ID while you are first setting up your phone or you can navigate to Settings and click Sign in to your iPhone where you’re Apple ID would usually be, then you’ll want to enter your Apple ID and password or create one if you haven’t already.

Your Apple ID information can be changed at anytime, including each category listed below.

Your will be able to view and access your Apple ID and iCloud information on each device that you’re signed into your Apple ID with.

It is very important you never forget your Apple ID or your password for your Apple ID or the email and password for the email that you set it up with if you used an email account outside of iCloud. For example: Gmail, hotmail, yahoo, etc.

Sign in on your iPhone

To sign in to your Apple ID:

  • Go to Settings.
  • Click Sign in at the top of the settings screen.
  • Enter your Apple ID and password.
  • You will most likely be asked enter a six-digit verification code sent to another trusted device or phone number and complete sign in.

At the bottom of the apple ID settings is all of your devices that are signed in to with your apple ID.

When you click on a device you will see:

  • Find my Iphone
  • Icloud Back up
  • Model of your device (What device you have i.e Iphone 11, Iphone 13 pro, Iphone 8 plus, etc.)
  • Version (The current iOS software your phone is running on)
  • Phone Number
  • Serial Number (All products of the same category will have the same serial number i.e all Iphone 11 pro max’s have the serial number G6TZT14WN70G)
  • IMEI (this is an ID specific to your device. Each device has its own IMEI)
  • Wallet & Apple Pay (here you will see all of the debit/credit cards you have attached to your Apple ID)

At the very bottom you will see the link to Sign Out of your Apple ID.
