How to Adjust Side or Home Button Settings on iPhone

To adjust accessibility settings for the side button (iPhone with Face ID) or the Home button (other iPhone models), follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings > Accessibility.
  2. Tap on either Side Button (Face ID iPhone) or Home Button (other iPhone models).
Available Settings:
  1. Click Speed: Set the speed for double or triple-clicking the button – Default, Slow, or Slowest.

  2. Press and Hold to Speak: Enable/Disable Siri activation when holding down the button.

  3. Rest Finger to Open (Touch ID iPhone only): Enable unlocking and opening the iPhone by resting your finger on Touch ID.

  4. AssistiveTouch (Face ID iPhone only): Use this feature to unlock and confirm payments with Face ID instead of double-clicking the top button. For more information, click on the lick to use AssistiveTouch.
