Bixby Routines

You can access Bixby Routines on your phone by:

  1. Go to Settings > Advanced features > Bixby Routines

  2. You can also go to Quick settings panels by swiping down from the top of the screen, swipe left, then hold Bixby Routines.

  3. You can also add Bixby Routines to the App screen. Go to Bixby Routines > More options (the three vertical dots) > Settings

  4. Turn on the switch next to “Show Bixby Routines on Apps screen.”

  1. Go to Bixby Routines > Discover. You’ll see various types of routines, from Good morning to Workout.

  2. Click on routine to customize it. You can change the conditions and other basic settings from here.

  3. Click on Edit to customize additional settings to your preference and add more actions.

  4. Then when done, click Next. You can set the name for your routine and you can also change the icon and color that will be displayed in My routines. Then, click on Done.

  1. Go to Bixby Routines, and then click on the Add routine tab.

  2. Click on the picture under If. Click on an item on the list of possible triggers. Follow the prompts for each trigger as  they will have additional options and instructions.

  1. After you set up the trigger, click on the picture beneath Then. Click on a category for the action you’d like to perform, and then click on the action you would like to perform. A lot of these actions will have additional options and settings.

  2. Bixby routines will stop an action when the trigger ends, and revert any altered settings to their original state. You can disable this feature by clicking on Reverse these actions and then turning on the switch at the top of the screen.

  3. Once your trigger and action are fully set up, click Next. Then you can set a name for your custom routine and you can also customize the icon and color that will be displayed in My routines. When finished click Done.

  1. Go to Bixby Routines > My routines.

  2. Click on a routine and then click the Favorite icon at the bottom (the star icon).

  3. Click Back to see the routines you have listed under Favorites.

  4. You can also view routines you’ve completed using the History option. To do this click More options (the three vertical dots) > History. You’ll see information about the start and end times for recent routines and how they were used.
