Storage

At the top of the screen this is where you can view how much iCloud storage you are using in addition to categories that are taking up space.

Manage Storage

Here you can add or take away iCloud storage as needed and view what is taking up iCloud space and how much space a category is taking up. You can also share storage with Family and create an account for a child.

Photos

If you want to change how your photos are stored click here and you’ll see these options:

iCloud

When turned on, all of your photos will be stored on the cloud. When off, photos will be stored in your internal phone storage.

Optimize iPhone Storage

This will reduce the resolution of the photos to condense the space used if you are running out of storage

Download and keep originals

This maintains the original resolution of the photos but takes more space.

Shared Albums

This allows you to create albums that you can share with others and you can also subscribe to other peoples shared albums.

iCloud Back Up

When turned on you can allow automatic back ups, When off you must back up your data manually.

Keychain

This keeps your usernames, passwords, payment information, and Wi-Fi passwords up to date and in encrypted so nobody but you can see them.

Private Relay (beta)

This hides your IP Address and internets searches from being tracked similarly to a VPN (Virtual Private Network). it is currently in the testing stages as of now so it is not as optimal as a VPN. You can toggle the location to stay local or your IP address will cover the country or time zone you are in.

Hide my Email

Similarly to the private relay, this is viewed by other people and websites on the internet as a fake email address but emails are still reverted back to your inbox.

iCloud Mail

This allows you to send and receive emails from your @icloud.com address.

App Back ups

Beneath these are categories that when on, you can choose to have backed up to your iCloud.

(Note that messages are usually automatically off so you must manually choose to toggle on if you want your text messages backed up.)
