To set up a physical keyboard, connect through bluetooth or use a compatible USB cable.

With this on you can still view the onscreen keyboard while the physical keyboard is being used.

Set up short cuts on your keyboard to make your physical keyboard experience easier depending on your preferences.

Change Language shortcut

If you are using a physical keyboard and you have multiple languages set up that you commonly switch between, you can set up language shortcuts from here to move seamlessly between languages.

Mouse and Trackpad

Pointer speed

To change the pointer speed to your liking simply move the slider left or right depending on the speed you prefer.

Wheel scrolling speed

This will change the scrolling speed for the wheel on the top of the mouse. Move the slider left or right as needed based on your personal preference.

Enhance pointer precision

This setting will make your mouse cursor move faster or slower depending on how you move the mouse.

Pointer size and color

From here you can customize your pointer settings and change the size and color of the pointer on the mouse. For the size just adjust the slider left or right to your liking and choose a color beneath the slider.

Primary mouse button

You can choose which button on the mouse is used to click on things and which button is used as the secondary button which will usually show different options like a contextual menu. This can be useful to someone who is left handed to give the general “left click” feature to the right button on the mouse.

Secondary button

As a default setting on most mouses, this is usually the right button on the mouse unless you chose to change the primary button above. As a default, this button will open a contextual menu but you can change it to:

  • None
  • Open contextual menu
  • Show Apps screen
  • Home
  • Recents
  • Back
  • View notifications
  • Open quick settings
  • Open app: To choose a specific app to open, click on the gear icon to the right of this setting and select an app from the list

Middle button, Additional button 1&2

This is typically the wheel on the mouse that can also be used as a button. You can also set different actions for additional buttons if your mouse has more than the standard three buttons. You can choose between the same features listed above for the secondary button for all of these.
