Camera App Settings
Formats
Camera Capture
You will have the following two options for how your camera captures and stores photos and videos.
High Efficiency
High format for photos will reduce the file size of the photos and videos to HEIF/HEVC format. This will allow you to save more storage on your device. You may want to consider this option if you’re running low on storage. Also, cinematic video, 4K at 60fps, 1080p at 240 fps, and HDR video will require this setting to be on. This is typically the default setting.
Most Compatible
This option will always capture photos in JPEG/H.264.
