Phone App – iPhone

To Access the Phone App on your iPhone open the app from your home screen, swipe all the way right from your home screen to the App Library, or search for the Phone App in the search bar.

How to use the Phone App

Keypad

If you want to dial a phone number to call someone:

• Open  the Phone App on your iPhone (it’s a green icon with a picture of a phone in the middle)
• Then at the bottom of the App screen you will see several tabs. Click on the one that says Keypad.
• Then once your Keypad is open, simply dial the number you want to call.

Add Favorites

If you want to have easy access to reach specific contacts that you call frequently without going through your contacts or dialing their number:

• Open  the Phone App on your iPhone (it’s a green icon with a picture of a phone in the middle)
• Then at the bottom left hand corner of the app click on Favorites (it’s a star icon)
• To add a favorite, click on the Blue Plus Icon + in the top left hand corner
• From here, enter a phone number or contact name then choose which of your contacts phone numbers (if more than one) that you want to add to favorites.
• Now you will see the contact in your favorites screen.
• If you want to delete a favorite, swipe left on the contact from your favorites screen at select Delete.

Recent Calls

If you want to see your recent calls:

• Open  the Phone App on your iPhone (it’s a green icon with a picture of a phone in the middle)
• Then at the bottom of the Phone App screen click on Recents.
• From here you can see all of your Recent calls.
• If you want to see both incoming and outgoing calls click on where it says All at the top of the screen or if you want to view only missed calls click on Missed at the top of the screen.
• If you want to delete a recent call you can either swipe left on a call and select Delete, or you can click on Edit in the top right hand corner and delete individual calls or select Clear in the top left corner to delete all recent calls.

Contacts

To access your contacts through the Phone App:

• Open  the Phone App on your iPhone (it’s a green icon with a picture of a phone in the middle)
• Then click on Contacts at the bottom of the screen.

Voicemail

To access you voice mails from the Phone App:

• Open  the Phone App on your iPhone (it’s a green icon with a picture of a phone in the middle)
• Then click on Voicemail in the bottom right corner.
• From here you can set up a greeting by selecting Greeting in the top left corner.
• You can also delete voicemails by clicking Edit in the top right corner or swiping left on a Voicemail and selecting Delete.
