Audio

Audio Description

When Audio Description is on, you will be able to hear a description of what’s happening on screen in supported movies and shows. To turn this setting on, simply turn on the switch to the right of this setting.

Sound Amplifier

Sound Amplifier can be used with headphones to enhance audio quality around you and on your device.

To use this feature, make sure you have headphones paired to your device either through bluetooth or wired headphones. Then tap on Open Sound Amplifier and follow the on screen instructions.

Sound Notifications

With sound notifications, your device will check for sounds around you that you would want to be notified about like when a baby is crying or a smoke or car alarm.

To use this feature, tap on Open Sound Notifications and tap on Turn On.

Note: Your phone will listen to everything that goes on around it. Conversations will only be sent to google is you have Feedback on so if you don’t you should have nothing to worry about.

Sound Notifications Shortcut

When this is on you will see a shortcut bubble for Sound Notifications on the right side of your screen.

Hearing Aids

To pair hearing aids, tap on this tab and you will be brought to the bluetooth device pairing screen.

Audio Adjustment

Mono Audio

When Mono Audio is on, channels will be combined while playing audio and focus on one audio signal. Play with this setting to see if it makes the audio on your phone clearer for you.

Audio Balance

You can shift the audio balance between your left and right headphones/left and right sides of your phone speakers. This could be helpful if you have a hearing impairment in one ear.
