Contacts Settings

Profile Picture Sharing

When this is turned on you will be able to see your contacts most recent profile pictures and you can allow them to see yours as well. Once this is on you will have the options to refresh your contacts list and add phone numbers.

Trash

When you have Trash on, deleted contacts will not be permanently deleted as soon as you delete them. If you choose to turn this off all of your contacts that are currently in the trash will immediately be deleted and future contacts that you delete will also permanently be deleted.

Contacts List

The following settings will allow you to adjust how your contacts are organized.

Sort Contacts By

From here you can choose to list your contacts alphabetically by first name or last name.

Name Format

You can choose whether you want your contacts format to be listed by First Name, Last Name, or Last Name, First Name.

Note: The Name format will not determine how your contacts are listed alphabetically. For example, if you choose to have your contacts sorted by first name and you choose to have their name format to show up with their last name first, your contacts will not appear to be listed alphabetically because their last name will be formatted prior to their first name but their first name will be used to sort contacts.

Show Frequently Contacted

When this switch is toggled on you will be be shown a Frequently Contacted section in your contacts list.

More Settings

Show 3rd Party Options

When you have this setting turned on you will see additional options underneath contacts that will include options to start calls, send messages, and more through third party apps.

For example, when this is on and you have a contact that uses Whats App, you will see Whats App as an option to call or message a contact once you open their contact card. This will be the case for other third party messaging and calling apps as well.
