Nearby Device Scanning

Nearby Device Scanning is Used to connect to wireless networks, such as your home network or a public access point like at a restaurant, hotel, or friends house.

Printing

From here you can add a printer or download a plug in to install an app that you can print documents from your phone with.

VPN

Network Unlock

From here you can view and change the lock status of your device. Most wireless carriers will lock your phone to their service and your device needs to be unlocked if you would like to use it with a different wireless carrier or if you would like to unlock your phone to travel. (Verizon phones and phones purchased directly from the manufacturer are almost always unlocked) 

If your network status is locked then you can choose from the following options to unlock it.

• Permanent unlock: You want to choose this option if you would like to bring your phone to a different wireless carrier or if you intend to sell the phone to someone else so they can use it freely.
• Temporary Unlock: This is a good option if you want to use your phone when traveling.

Note: Generally your device must be completely paid off before a wireless carrier will unlock your device.
