To find specific apps, click on the drop down menu above the applications at the top of this screen. The drop down menu will typically show Most Recent apps first but you can find apps with the following options:

    • These will be the apps that you most recently used.
  • Most Frequent
    • These will be the apps that you use the most.
  • All Apps
    • This will show a list of all of the apps that you have on your phone.
  • Turned Off

You can also tap on the Search Icon to the left of the more icon (looks like a piece of paper with a magnifying glass) to search for a specific app.

Notification History

Notification history will show you all of the notifications that you’ve received in order and may be useful if you accidentally deleted, snoozed, or ignored a notification and want to get a quick look at what it was.

To turn on notification history, turn the switch on where it says Use Notification History.

Conversation

Conversations

Conversations is a feature that designates a section of your notifications specifically to messaging applications such as Messages, Facebook Messenger, Whats App, etc. Once you make a conversation from any of these apps a priority, they will all appear in this section of your phone. Conversations from messaging apps will show up at the top of your notifications list when you swipe down from the top of your Google Pixel screen. To change the settings of a conversation and/or to make it a priority, tap and hold a conversation from your notifications in the swipe down menu.

Bubbles

With Bubbles, some conversations will show up on your screen as a floating icon on top of other apps. This will give you quick access to messages without having to navigate away from the app that you’re currently using.

Enhanced Notifications

With enhanced notifications on you won’t notice a difference right away but your Pixels AI (Artificial Intelligence) will learn how you interacts with notifications and adapt and prioritize notifications based on how you use your phone. This could turn into a highly convenient feature as you use your phone more.

Note: Enhanced Notifications is on by default and although this may be a convenient feature, when you turn it off and turn it back on there is a warning notification that pops up that says that “Enhanced notifications can access notification content including personal information like contact names and messages.” Just be aware that enhanced notifications could be a privacy concern.
