Interaction and Dexterity

With these features you can customize and set controls or add an assistant menu to your screen to help you access different functions more seamlessly.

To access these settings got to Settings > Accessibility > Interaction and dexterity. From here you can customize setting such as:

Universal switch

If you have difficulty touching the screen you can add custom switches to control your device. You can connect accessories that help you navigate your device, utilize your camera with face detection and set options for tapping on the screen.

Assistant menu

This will show you a menu of display options that are easy to reach button which allow you to customize hard keys, gestures and other common interactions

Voice Access

Once you download Voice Access from the google play store you can control your device with your voice. Voice commands will open apps, select buttons, use swipe gestures, and type.

Note: This feature is currently available in English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish.

Answering and ending calls

This will allow you to customize how you answer and end calls. You can Read caller names aloud, Answer automatically, Press Volume up to answer calls, and press side key to end calls.
Note: This setting may not be available on tablets.

Interaction control

This will block all other app and phone features will you’re using a specific app so you can focus on that pp with out interruptions and distractions.

Touch and hold delay

This changes the time in which your screen recognizes your action as a touch vs. a hold. You can also create a custom time according to your interaction time.

Tap duration

This customizes how long your phone will recognizes your action as a tap vs. a hold.

Ignore repeated touches

This will allow your phone to disregard taps after the initial tap and you can set a limit on how long they are ignored.

Mouse and Physical Keyboard

Auto action after pointer stops

Once the mouse stops moving you can choose an option for a click action so you don’t have to physically click the mouse. You can also configure mouse actions when you move the mouse pointer to each corner of the screen. At the bottom of the screen drag the slider to choose delay time before the mouse action.

Sticky keys

This is helpful if you need one hand to press two keys such as using the shift button so it will stay on shift will you navigate to another character on the keyboard.

Slow keys

From here you can configure a delay time for how long a key should be held before your keyboard recognizes the action as a key press.

Bounce keys

With bounce keys you can prevent accidental presses on the keyboard by setting up a delay for your second tap action.
