Google One is the cloud storage service that offers cloud storage with some additional features that we will go over on this page.

From here you can learn more about what Google One has to offer and access your:

Storage

You will always have 15GB (Gigabytes) of storage for free through Google One. This is enough storage for contacts, device settings, call history, and some additional personal data but it is not enough for most people who have tons of photos, videos, notes, apps, messages, etc.

If this is your first time accessing Google One, you will want to tap on Get Started at the bottom of this screen. You may then receive a promotional offer if there is one. Google One will usually offer you at least a month for free but it just depends on the promotion at the time.

  • To see storage details, tap on the storage tab at the bottom of the app screen.

On this screen you will see how much storage you’re using and how much storage you have in total. You’re storage will also be split up into three categories:

    • These are items being stored in your trash such as deleted emails, spam emails, on other deleted files that still take up storage space because nothing you delete is completely deleted right away.
  • Large Items
    • Here you will see some of the largest files, pictures, etc. on your phone that take up the most space.

    • Here you can view and navigate to unsupported videos and other device storage.
